Discover
Start with the person.
We begin by learning what matters to the individual, including their strengths, interests, communication preferences, important relationships, and personal goals.
“What do you enjoy? What would you like to explore?”
OUR APPROACH
See the person before the service. Support built around your choices, interests, and everyday life.
Preparing to launch. Not currently accepting participants.
Explore Our Approach ↗THE EVERY STEP VILLAGE
IT TAKES A VILLAGE.
The Every Step Village connects individual choice with relationships and opportunities already present in the community. The individual leads. The village supports. Every step has purpose. Each person defines what a fulfilling life means to them and chooses the people and experiences they want involved.
The Village exists to support individual choice, never to dictate it.
FIVE CONNECTED STAGES
This is the approach we’re preparing to put into practice. Support will be individualized and governed by each person’s applicable plan and service authorizations.

We begin by learning what matters to the individual, including their strengths, interests, communication preferences, important relationships, and personal goals.

Design
We plan with the person, using their choices and applicable service plan to shape meaningful opportunities and appropriate support. Accessibility, routines, and the assistance they need are part of the conversation.
“What would make this meaningful and accessible for you?”
Connect
We explore relationships, places, and community opportunities that fit the individual’s interests and goals. Each person chooses the connections they want to pursue and who they want involved.
“Which people, places, or opportunities interest you?”
Experience
We provide individualized, hands-on support with opportunities to practice relevant skills, make decisions, and participate in everyday life. Support stays within the person’s applicable plan and service authorizations.
“What would you like to try, and how can we support you?”
Grow
We listen to the person’s experience and use their feedback to refine support. Progress may mean maintaining a skill, building confidence, making more choices, or discovering a new interest.
“What worked for you? What would you like to change?”
MEANINGFUL PROGRESS
Expressing preferences, making decisions, and directing everyday experiences.
Trying something new, practicing a skill, or maintaining an ability that matters.
Building relationships and participating in community life on the person’s terms.
Meaningful support is guided by the person’s priorities and feedback. More activities or more social interaction do not automatically mean better outcomes.
Choice stays with the individual. People may decline activities, choose other providers, and maintain relationships outside ESP.
Professional responsibilities remain. Community connections do not replace required staffing, supervision, or paid services.
Services have defined boundaries. The Village is a guiding philosophy, not a separate Medicaid service or membership requirement. This framework supplements required plans and documentation.
