Our mission

Our mission: opportunity on your terms.

To unlock opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities or traumatic brain injuries to discover their strengths, develop real-life skills, build relationships, and live with purpose and a passion for life on their own terms.

Our Vision

To make community-based support more personal, creative, and connected to the lives people want to lead.

Our approach

Support starts with the person.

Strengths and choices

We begin with each person's interests, goals, preferences, and what matters most to them.

Everyday opportunities

Community spaces and real-life experiences can support skill-building, confidence, and participation.

Meaningful relationships

We value relationships with family, chosen supporters, and community members who respect each person’s choices.

The Every Step Village

It takes a village.

The individual leads. The village supports. Every step has purpose. The Every Step Village describes how individuals, families, chosen supporters, Direct Support Professionals, care managers, businesses, and community organizations can connect around a person’s interests and goals. In Concord, libraries, recreation centers, and parks are examples of resources people may choose to explore.

These community resources are places of possibility, not claims of formal facility partnerships.

Meet our founder

Built to see the person beyond the service.

Founder Torey Evans worked as a Direct Support Professional before establishing Every Step Pathways. His experience with everyday routines, recreation, and relationships informs the belief that support should start by getting to know the person, not by prescribing activities.
